Hi all wavey
I need some advise please on pruning a Freesia Hanging Basket. I am in zone 8 (EUROPE) if that is any help. My Freesia has died off so it is like a bunch of twigs at the moment, but I have noticed it has started to get new leaves coming though. Am I too late to prune? Duh

Please do!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes when a name is given to a plant,
it might not be that name, or in the plant
world, there's 300+ varieties of some.....
And that's hard in the dianosis....

If I posted a picture or two of a freesia,
would you take a look at them and let me know
if they are in the same catagory???

I was very curious when you wanted to prune them?

I'm reasonable knowledgeable about plants,
but I am always amazed at the varieties of some
plants that come from around the world....

I am always willing to learn new things...

As far as the Fushia's are, they're a seasonal plant in my growing zone, often bought for the summer and is waning by the end....
But I did find out last year there a few kinds, one's like mine here and I guess a bush, one of our gardeners had them out on the West Coast.

Did the archives help you with the maintainence or pruning that you needed????

Weezie
