If I wanted to get that parrot out of there I would have to just try to buy it from them.

That is so sad Cindy. Would Lola be able to have a sibling or would it stress her too much?

Would Lola be able to have a sibling or would it stress her too much? I'd say it would just about kill her. She is very spoiled, and I don't think she would like me paying attention to another parrot. But, you never can tell...she might love having a friend. I just don't know.

i hate it when people mistreat birds. birds need loving just kike all other animals. people tink they can just put them in a cage and leave them. Gabby has a cage that is about 6'x4'x4' with a play land on top, then she has a travel cage too so we can take her with us to grandpa's and iter places too. she loves going to our store and loves riding in the truck. she has her travel cage too so she can go outside with us. and the same for our parakeet, we take both of them with us when we go to our families houses and even just out for a day of fun. they are both spoiled. we are wanting to get another parakeet and hopefully a couple more parrots. to me they are easy to take care of, and we love them. btw, afgreyparrot, where in ky are you?

She plays her own version of "Chopsticks"... ...funny thing is she sings when she's at the piano. I gotta try to get a video of it one of these days.

That is awesome Cindy. Did you teach her or did she pick up playing on her own?

She is self-taught! She can even read music...(NOT!) Here she is finding a song she wants to play... (...actually, she was trying to chew the song book up)

Here's Lola's dishes... I put them in a regular size plate so you could see how little they are.

She eats good out of a spoon...I put something like mashed sweet potatoes in a spoon and give it to her, and she holds the spoon and eats the taters. She has a little plastic cup she can hold and drink out of...but when she's finished she always dumps whatever's left in it down my back.

Her worst idea of "sharing with Momma" is when she tries to feed me...and I won't let her put food in my mouth because I don't want her to get my germs...so she puts it in my ear.
