Geez, what nice fish stories & pics. Another one of my favorite hobbies. I like salt water fishing now, seems more fun & catch something everytime. I just wish that I could post the picture of my biggest fish. Won the "catch of the month" contest in a local fishing magazine. Plus, the most excitment was being name Shoreline Queen Fisherette at a Grand Isle, LA fishing rodeo.

i came back this morning from an over night trip, and im off again tommorow for some more!

i went last week and saw 3 of the fish ive caught already, one is looking rather large at the moment
i wont shake it off if i hook it again!!

I'm gonna try to get to the lake this week end!! May be too hot to fish, does any one have suggestions for good bait for catfish to bite on hot days or do I just use what I normally do?? I've heard the hotter it is the deeper cats go so one needs something to encourage them to come to you more than the norm is this true?

i fish for wels catfish over here, they are different to yours, but i do take a lot off the surface when its hot!
just remember a bad days fishin is better than a good day at work
catch one for me!!

Just got back from fishing caught 8 - all approx 7-9 lbs . we have already prepared for frying today... Our friend caught quite a few as well but she caught and released most of hers too small for her liking tho they were pan sized we used worms, live crickets, and frozen cormeal balls dipped in liver blood I only caught one on the frzn cornball and it was barely hooked but I managed to get it on land,, the chiggers were terrible!!!!!!! so many bites on my arms and ankles we had to walk about a quarter of a mile to get to the cat hole but in my opinion it was all worth it,, Last night I was up late> matter of fact never did go to sleep, so as I was packing I forgot the camera.. our friend took some pic but her camera isn't digital we're going again in august sometime hopefully well have the same kind of luck,, the cats' really seemed hungry this am

Yep it was a good one about ready to start cooking our Sunday fish fry wanna come and eat with us there is plenty Triss!! Mac and Cheese and salad goes with!

Jonny had luck fishing today. Caught the one and only fish of the day. he does not even eat them but Dan and Patrick will each enjoy half of it. It is a bass. He turned the fish as I took the pic.

Thats my FIL Gary.thats his collection of bobber& hooks growing on tree in water too.good bites in that hole,but a headache too.

The other pic is stright out shot.I fish in a safer zone.I rip my worms & minnows off the hook half time from the leaves.Time to cut another tree.It could be worse.the water would rise& we;d have to go further down past our spot. I enjoyed the veiw here that day was a great day.

I have no tales of the one that got away because no fish has EVER escaped my hooks, nets, spears, traps, or bows. I even supported our church by hunting and fishing when I was younger.
