so they cannot disengage even if they want to.
Which reminds me of yesterday....I had some not very sticky paper tape and I just placed a long strip of it under one of my cats front paws.... laugh ....oh you should of seen how fast that cat could shake her paw.....ROFLMAO.

You know my favorite statement...what goes around...comes around

I can just picture myself with that snake dangling from my hand trying to shake it off and having the thing wrap itself around my arm....(that is how they kill their prey) and having to use my other hand to grab it and to try and get it to release.......thanks for the mental visual. I think I will trade G~mom for that hemp snake of hers she has dangling from the tree tops. laugh laugh

Sorry sweetie,

But as the biology labs t.a. when I was in highschool I had to know. I used to have a boa constrictor wrapped around my neck about once a week when we would go around to the elementary schools so my teacher could give talks about wildlife. Also they are much more likely to bite when they are shedding their skin.

That looks like a very large bull snake to me. Bull snakes are your friend. They eat rodents (gophers and mice) and even baby rattle snakes. I am not afraid of snakes and most bull snakes don't have too bad of a temprement but are known to bite on occasion if being harassed. However, if you have a small kitty, that bull snake could eat it too! I think I would relocate it back to the gopher hill.

What a beautiful snake. Give him a cuddle for me please. I love snakes. They work so much better than rat traps.

Well that gopher snake sure isn't paying his share of the rent that is for sure....yesterday there was that stinken gopher poking his head out of a hole eating away on some bird seed and burmuda grass.....and an adolescent RAT came out of the oleander feeding on some bird seed.

The rat sat side by side eating seed with the smaller birds until a scrub jay came down to feed....scaring the little birds away but then the rat went after the scrub jay. laugh

This year we had a lot more rain than usual so we have a lot more critters running around. Now where are those owls and hawks when you need them!
