Ok! OK! Hollywood has been a little busy! Here is a whole new album devoted to spring in Hollywood Dell. I will make no comment on Jille's attempts to post our pics for all of you.

Thanks JoAnn - what wonderful sites to see on this still snowy day! I really like the frog tea lite holder in the first few pictures - very cute! How's everything going for you? Have you had the other tests done yet?

Snow on the ground today. My snow drops are frozen. I can't find my tulips, crocuses, daffodils, or lillies. Birdies are building a nest in my porch, that's cool. It was cold today...36 today. Its supposed to flurry or something tomorrow morning and then a wintery mix on Sunday, which is NOT good since I have to go Lancaster that day.

On Tues we had 3 1/2 inches of snow, spitting rain and snow on Weds. It is looking very nice outside right now, looks promising.

Today is NOT promising here. They are telling us that we are supposed to get 6-8 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow. They said it wouldn't start until 11:00, but we were at Denny's at 9:30 and it had just started to snow. The cats are getting restless....I'M getting restless. Today market was crazy...everyone is scared of the snow. They so much as mention the word in the weather forcast and all of the stores are instantly sold out of eggs, milk, and bread (why would everyone make french toast when it snows????

Weather here has been nice, hazy mornings, clearing to mid 70's by afternoon. Called my cousin who moved from here to Connecticut a year ago, she asked me if we were outside at the time of the call. "Of Course!" I answered. She said, and I quote: "If you love me, please don't tell me about the weather, please don't say anything." so I didn't. But I'm not always so nice; in the past I have called just to tell her I was drinking a Jamba Juice in the drive through of In-N-Out with the windows all down and the radio up. Judith: where 'bouts in LA is your daughter? It is as you say, "a big place".

So Californians, isn't this weather great after all that rain??? I feel like I'm just back from exile. I took three days off this week for a "stay-at-home-and spring-clean vacation" & I'm out as soon as the sun comes up. Man, is it ever good to play in the dirt. Potted tulips are going to open all the way this weekend...potted iris' are showing themselves, hostas are sprouty, potted artichoke is getting BIG, and all is right with the world. Ahhhhh, spring! Snowfolks, your time is coming soon...hang in there.

Finally a nice day here. Yesterday was the pits. Today almost all of the snow has melted away thanks to the warmer temperatures. My crocuses have opened up and my tulips are on their way. I saw a HUGE flock of red breasts today on my way home from work!

Jiff, I think your weather's heading up my way by the weekend!! It's suppoesed to be a whole 50*'s and then some!!! I love the nice weather to come, but also dislike it because it's still got snow in it's system, and the poor flowers are out and and the cold weather nips then, (snow's not bad, it insulates it, but the freezing temp's squwish the flowers, don't hurt the bulbs for next year, but only this years flowers.) It's 32*'s this morning!! Heat wave again! Weezie Sunny this weekend though Weezie

BBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! CCCCCCCCOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDD!!!!!
Just came home from standing outside in 20F!!! for AN HOUR!!!
My daughter's grade is off to Washington D.C. for 3 days. We had to be at the bus at school at 6:00a.m., but 5 out of the 6 "luxury" buses got LOST!!! And did not show up until 6:50!!! Then all the loading of luggage and kids - they didn't leave until 7:10... and NONE of us was dressed for this 20 degrees - BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
Well... after I thaw out some, I'm off for my own 3 day retreat to a cousin's in Connecticut. They have a wonderful house on 5 acres with a large pond - it's heavenly up there!
Talk to you all when I get back!
