I'll be glad to send you a couple rhizomes when I separate these. Just let me know. I love iris'.
sheri, those are gorgeous! i'll trade you some carolina jessamine for a few! or postage or what ever!! i just want some!
PM me your address and when I divide them I'll send them. Depending on where you live, you might be able to put them in the ground as soon as you get them. They should bloom next year.

What do you do for them????

WOW! Nice shots!
My neighbor across the street just let me dig up all of her beardies. She said she didn't want them flopping over onto her other plants. (She had them on a slope.) I fairly ran over there and dug them all up. I don't even know what colors they are, yet.
I am an iris fan. The smaller, non-bearded dutch irises are from bulbs and are planted a few inches deep, but the fabulous tall bearded iris, like Sherl's, HAVE to have their rhizomes (the broad, ginger-root looking things) on the top of the soil, with the small, stringy roots under the soil, otherwise they'll be stubborn about blooming.
gardenmom, pm me your address and the color you said you wanted.
