I have been given a wild garlic plant. Does anyone know what I do to keep it going. Is it edible? if so what parts of plant are edible. Any help appreciated.

To keep it going, what area are you in? Where I am (Southern Quebec), it's a rare plant, you can only pick 50 per year! Lucky for me, I have tons on my property, lol! It grows very well in shade/part shade, and you can eat most of the garlic, from the bulb to about 1/3 fo the way up the plant. They are very tasty!! Lucky you!

Thanks for that. I am in North Eastern Scotland with summer temp getting to high 70's (if you are lucky) and dropping to -10 in winter (on a cold snap), although -17 has happened.

It should be fine there, then. Our winters are similar in temps, although it can get much colder here during a cold snap, and the garlic is still thriving.
