Thought I'd share a picture of my daylilies today, after 2 days of rain. I know I haven't been posting here much, been doing a little visiting of relatives, and much gardening... but I have been lurking a bit and reading up on what's going on with you all.

Hope you are all enjoying your summer... Lynne

Gorgeous! What do you have in the back ground? Those look really pretty also.

Hi hdsporty ~ haven't seen you around for a while!

The flowers in the background are a wildflower that grows throughout the area. While on a walk a few years ago, I noticed one stem growing along the roadside - I had never seen it before, so I went home and got a trowel to dig it up. That thing was rooted to China!!! It now pops up all over my garden by runners, but I can usually pull those out pretty easily. It even came up through a small crack in my driveway a few feet away from the main plant! frown

I haven't gotten the name of it yet... someone suggested that it might be in the phlox family?

I'll try to get a closer picture today - maybe someone here can identify it. idea

edit: ok, here's a somewhat closer picture - any closer with this cheapo camera and the pictures are fuzzy...
