Can anybody figure out what kind of plants these are? Karen's Place

Will Creed will know the answer to this question. Shouldn't have to wait any longer than a few days for a response. Hang in there. I know it is frustrating not knowing the names and searching all over with no results. By the way cute lamp in the pix. Catlover

Hi Karen,
Unknown plant #2 is an Angel Wing Begonia ... They like evenly moist soil and a dose of morning sun. Feed and prune her regularly to induce bushiness and a great show of flowers! They are easy to propagate by cuttings.
#4 is some type of Sanseveria (Snake plant or Mother in Law's Tongue)...

#2 looks to me like an ever blooming begonia
(that's not bloomin'LOL) or something like angelwings...????.....

#4 looks like a snake plant....

Sorry about the delay (I've been out watching my son's baseball tournament - five games in two days!).

Others have correctly identified the angelwing begonia and the Sansevieria or snake plant.

#3 is a Draceana 'Janet Craig' compacta.

#2 appears to be a Ficus, but it is hard to tell from the photo.

Let me know if you need any care advice.

Number 4 is a Snake plant (Sansevieria)- I have one that looks almost exactly like it, in my bedroom. Number 1, there are a ton of those hanging around my work, but I cannot remember the name if it!!!

angelwing begonia looks very similar to mine ceept mine has red on the back of leaves and stem is red http://www.ncfarmsinc.com/w-products/angelwingbegonia here is link I used to ID mine so have you seen yours flower at all?know they like watered good& don't like pot bound.mine is from m step dads plant and theirs is like 7 ft tall came home from visit with 4 cuttings

plant#4 is mother n law tounge or cast iron plant.I know they will get mature and eventually flower and my mom had one and did see it flower once when growing up was red looked like same size as leaf.will have to ask if she happens to have any pics to scan of it,don't recall seeing plant around durring visit either.they are suppose to be hard to kill

from what I understand the mother-in-law's tongue is the same as a snake plant. The cast iron plant is totally different. I have one of those in my office. The mother-in-law's tongue in the office upstairs is gorgeous, but I didn't know they bloomed!

#1 looks like (Cordyline)C.terminalis, commonly called TI plant. These are woody plants with swordlike leaves. They are often sold as Dracaena.

Yes, somewhat similar in appearance to Cordyline, but definitely a Dracaena 'Janet Craig' compacta.
