Photos are the last 2 in the album. I think its a pepper plant, but not sure what kind. Will also need any care tips! It's a 99 cent store find!

It does look somewhat like a pepper plant to me,
like maybe a banana or jalapeno???

Sorry about the. I think it may be "operator" error. The camera phone took a good one of the Goodyear Blimp and the moon (see the Misc photo album). I will try to get better pictures this week. The plant is sitting by my orchid and Luckey bamboo in a east facing window. I do have to blinds partially closed so the plants don't get sunbaked.

Yep, it's a pepper. Either capscum (the kind sold as a decorative plant) or a thai pepper (I think). I'd say, since you got it for 99 cents, it's most likely a capscum. The peppers are hotter then jalapenos and it can stand full sunlight.
They also reseed easily.

New and better photos are now up. Try the link again, last two photos. Oh and the "peppers" do turn red. SOme of the other plants at the 99 Cent store had red "peppers."

Very nice pictures, from what I see there - the peppers themselves are a bit fuzzy but that's cause you went too close.

I like growing just ordinary green peppers - they make a nice looking plant. The last one I had only gave off one little wee pepper, which I chomped as I was turning it over for the winter.

I try to dry out my seeds when we use green peppers - I rarely see anything. The guy that spoke for Home Depot at Canada Blooms said you don't always get 'female' plants at the supermarket so that's why some of these tricks don't work - same for pineapple and avocado - awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! That was me from the audience.

Thanks Bill, I think you got it! and thanks to all who responded. The pepper seems to be adjusting to its new location, but it's got roots coming out of the bottom of the pot, so I may repot it in a couple of weeks. I don't want to kill the poor thing with too many changes at once! LOL
