I'm ashamed to say I don't know what these are because I had them at my old house. I remember they liked a lot of water, but they didn't grow this tall until September in North Texas, when I would cut them down to the ground and they would grow back in the spring. Now I am in Houston and they seem to have already grown to the point where I need to cut them down, but I don't want to kill them.

Thanks. I really am sorry for the large pictures. I shrank them on the photobucket, but when I tried to redo the URL, it still displayed a large picture. I will try to make sure they are smaller next time.

Actually, it now looks like I have the picture TOO small!

I hope I'm not as bad with my garden as I apparently am in posting pictures.
