My aunt has an unidentified shrub in her yard. Her friend gave it to her and she can't remember the name of it. Any ideas out there?

The first is a flower on the bush. The second picture is the bush itself.

Do you think I could root a cutting off this bush? It is very pretty.

Is that a bush or a vine? And are the flowers both red and pink? Or is the pink I see something else? It sure is pretty

It is a bush, Triss. I think the whole thing is just so pretty. The flowers all look a reddish-pinky (coral) to me.

wavey hi dixie angel ~

the plant in your photos is a variety of malvaviscus ~ quite possibly drummondii,
in my area, it's commonly called "mexican turk's cap" (*not to be confused with turk's cap lily).
it is a hibiscus relative and you can certainly start it from a cutting,

Thank you, Zuzu! We have been wondering what the bush was, but just this week-end, finally was able to get a picture of it.
