Hello all .
I have this plant , which comes back bigger and bigger each year , which my mother gave me , I believe from either Peurto Rico or Miami . It has new blooms growing each day , and they bloom every day about an hour after dusk , and the blooms die every morning , growing yet more bloomers . It seems to bloom like this from late May till almost deep September .
If you need further pics , I will gladly produce .
Thanx in advance , "Walt" :ghttp:

Very interesting little plant you've got there. The leaves look like gazania a bit, the flower looks like evening primrose, the spent blossom reminds me of hibiscus. Duh This is a good mystery.

Are all the flowers yellow? Some of those look pinky-peach, but I didn't know if that's just the look of the spent blossom or what?

That is the color of the spent blooms . Today , there is 4 blooms coming out .
It is supposedly some kind of moon flower , and all the blooms are yellow .
I really would like to get another , but have had no luck with what it is . I tried to get moon-flowers , but they were very different , much taller , and nothing like this ... Duh Duh

You must have missed Papito's post with the ID of your plant, Radd-Dad...

Oenothera missouriensis, a shorter Evening Primrose.
