First, I apologize for the way the picture takes up so much room--how do I shrink it?

Anyway, here are some plants from my back yard. One I think is a butterfly weed (kind of hidden in behind with red flowers). I am mainly curious about the "weedlike" thing in the foreground. I thought it was a weed, but it looks similar to another plant (which I will post) that has little orange blooms. I always find butterflies near this orange blooming plant, so I'm wondering if these aren't the same thing?



Here is the blooming plant by the window that attracts butterflies. It looked like a weed until it bloomed.

The second plant is Butterfly plant/Asclepias..
