A friend gave me this last year and told me it was ginger root. I called the county extention ans the info they sent on ginger root doesn't match the plant. It will have big pretty red flowers eventually(it did last year). Did she tell me wrong? Duh nutz

As far as I know ginger has white flowers. Have never heard of ginger with red flowers!

Hi Tonya, wavey

Do the flowers bloom on a stalk like say foxglove or delphinium? Or are they single blooms scattered throughout the plant like a lobelia?? Are the blooms large or small?? Describe to us the flowers as best as you can!!

Duh

The leaves and stalks look EXACTLY right only mine are lighter green...YAY!!! The "large" red blooms I thought it had was on another plant that is springing up alongside this one. THANK YOU!!!!! You are incredible! I can't wait to learn more about it! clp clp clp
