I have 2 of these in my back yard but have no idea what they are. Any ideas?

It looks like cherry laurel to me. Prunus laurocerasus I think.

The stems have a typical cherry odor when bruised.

I did not smell anything when I broke one off. But it looks the same. And they are in deep shade. Guess I will know when they bloom for sure. thanks for the ID.
