If you can't see the picture in the post above, try right clicking on with and a list will appear, click on Show Picture and it should show up. I have tried that post 3 times, the picture shows in the Preview Post window, but not when I post it. eek

Hey Weezie,

Here is the link to the picture on Webshots:

Look in Jillie and the Blue Birdies

When you open that Album, click on the picture. When the window opens with the single piture, there is a line under it that says, View Full Size, click on that and you will get a bigger piture to look at.

To answer some of your questions:

Bush
This one was over 3 feet tall
Not sure if it had a fragrance
Hummers loved it
flowers grew up
I have only seen it in purple
I have seen it all over CA

Awwwe, Gardengal, you're too sweet, thanks. grinnnn

Note regarding that house in Cambria (in the first birdie photos) we occasionally rent...
The people who own it keep a library of horticulture books with all of the pages marked, indicating every plant they've used in their landscaping. They've been meticulous, both in their plantings and their record-keeping. So, when we go back next month for a little R&R (if everyone here is as stumped as we are) we'll look it up and report back.

You are so very welcome. Glad I could help with that one. Actually, I stumbled across it when trying to answer a question for someone else! Sometimes it all comes together. Bet you could take cuttings (with permission of course) and have some for yourself!

Shhhhhhhh..

The last time we were there, I snipped a li'l piece of peppermint geranium & brought it home (Now it's HUGE, all big and sprouty and smelling good under our back porch wink )
The people who own the house are wonderful. They even encourage vacation renters to help themselves to the vegetable garden! I'll be snippin' this trip, too thumbup .....
