This plant might be invasive, but my daughter keeps it contained in raised beds along the north & west sides of her house. (Full shade/half-day sun.) It grows about 15" - 2' tall. She says it stays in bloom for a couple months in the spring & early summer, & she has to do hardly anything, to maintain it... Perfect for on-the-go working people who don't have much time to spend on the yard!

Anybody know what it's called?

Some of it is variegated & some not; she says that she thinks maybe the solid green leaves are new growth & might be variegated the second year. Duh

I've noticed that it's non-deciduous, & looks nice all year round! (zone 6/7)

there are two varieties of vinca there. if they're well established and in a good sunny spot, they will get pretty tall.

and, yes, it can be invasive! i wasn't aware of that when i put some in...thank god the spot i put it in is completely surrounded by concrete!
