From a distance it almost looks like a mum, could you get a closer shot if it?

It looks a bit scrawny, but the leaves look similar to a mum and the flowers seem to be about the right size.

Is looks like a Wild Aster. They grow on the side of the Interstate in Mid-Tenn. Sweet little white daisy with yellow in the middle? BTW, how did you post a picture? I have a picture that I'd like to know the name of the flower. Thanks, Liz

If you didn't plant it, maybe a birdie (or the wind) brought it in! I think they look like Argyranthemum . They do come in other colors... mine are pink & white.

Looks like a mum to me. I usually trim them down this time of year to about a foot tall. I don't let them bloom until the fall.

Good morning, Lilylu Are your sure that's not feverfew, which is sort of a mum? If so, it's not blooming too early, though, but right on time and is a great plant.

The consensus seems to be it is a mum... I think I will trim it down and see if it pops up again in the fall.....but first, I will see if I can find some information on singingsky's guess of a Feverfew..... thanks gals!

After doing a little research, I've concluded that it is indeed a mum....but it sure does resemble the Feverfew too..but the flowers on the feverfew seem to look more like a daisy and these flowers are much more compact like a tiny mum.... The feverfew, is an herb I've learned....

The research is always worth the effort, if you learn something new from it!
