The only thing i can think of is a moonflower. Its kinda like a sunflower, only its nocturnal, and is a very light color... i'm colorblind, so i can't tell if its white, light green, pink, or whatever lol. But ya, is it a moonflower?

My guess is Evening Primrose. They're wildflowers,
but I like 'em and let them grow in certain areas.

AH HA, Eureka! It is Yellow Evening Primrose!
Many thanks. I wanted to take a pic with my digital camera and send it, but I don't know how to do that.

I was greatly releived that it was not the poisonous 4 O'clock because I wanted to know bad enough that I was going to eat a few leaves. If I died then I would know it was 4 O'clocks. Basic logic 101 huh?

My e-pal, Lorraine, from N. C. sent me some moonflower seeds - they look just like my nasturtiums - yes, they do open up at night.

I've never been told exactly what moonflowers are. Probably just any kind of flowers that open up at night.

Carly- I'm going to have to get more moonflowers--I love white flowers at night, they really stand out. Mine were always much larger than nasturtiums, but there is definitely a similarity to the shape of the flower. I love nasturtiums, too, but if you plant them in fertile soil, the leaves grow too large & you can hardly see the flowers. They're edible, too.

I think you have your album set to private...to makeit public, go to the light green box on the right that says "edit", and click on properties. There, you can change it to private and everyone will be able to see your pretty flowers.

BTW...hi! wavey I'm Jenn. smile

Thanks "hisgaL2" for trying to help. I am sure by now no one even cares about seeing this flower, but I am determined to learn how to do this. I changed setting as you instructed to public so...one more time... primrose

Woodenlisten,

I have these, and I do let a few of them grow
here on my property!!
But remember they can be quite prolific re~seeders!!
Take a few seeds from the pods, and put them in some pots, *just sprinkle on top of the dirt* and they should reseed for you in the spring, but watch them closely and watch what they look like as a "youngin'" and you'll know what they look like and can easily either pluck them where you don't want them or leave them be!!!

Froggyqueen,
Go by some railroad tracks or creek beds,
you should be able *I'm guessin'* to find
some growin' there.
They seem to like really baron dirt, but will
grow just about anywhere's....
You'll find alot of "wildflowers" along railroad
paths and creek beds, as the "seeds~catch a ride"
along the way, and are deposited along the way as well.

Hope this info helps!!!

Weezie

P.S. I love cool your name!!!
I love frogs, do you too???????????
