this pretty little succulent has made it's home in my flower bed. I thought it was a cousin to the sedum I had growing in a flower pot. I was going to leave it, but then it started multiplying and getting HUGE.

The stem is reddish and quite heavy.
The leaves are fleshy.
The root is very stringy but sturdy.
They don't appear to be traveling underground to make new plants, but they are everywhere. I haven't let them flower and make seeds.

so...what is it and how do I control it?????
thanks!

We have that in our yard as well. I just pull it up every time I see it.
