My mother in law has this plant. She does not remember what it is called. Hopefully someone here will know.

I only have this one picture ( which is not very good, as I took it with my cell phone). I can't take anymore because we left Seattle and that is where the plant is located. The pods I have taken a picture of.. are they seed pods? Some sort of fruit that the plant produces or??

The flowers are purple ( light).

If it is a climbing vine, probably deadly nightshade or bittersweet herb, do the berries turn red and do the flowers look like purple tomato flowers with yellow centers? they can be quite invasive.

Hi Kennyso

I know what night shadelooks like. This plant is completely different. It stands straight up in a tree/bush fashion. The leaves are unique ( I had taken two pics with cell, but only one came to my email). I don't know if the berries turn any color, as my mother in law only planted the plant this summer. The berry type growth is actually large. That is my thumb near them so you can compare the size.

Thanks for trying!!
