Even if you can't get a picture on, do some
serious describing. flower, leaves, shape or heighth of the plant.... Some gardeners can tell by descriptions....... When it flowers, where it planted etc. etc. laugh

OK, let's see how "descriptive" I can be of my "mystery flower",,,, At the "base" it has long green strap-like leaves. It has a tall "stalk" that shoots ups from the center of the leaves. From this stalk there are multiple lily-like blooms. The ones I have in my yard are pink and white stripe blooms on some plants and deep, dark solid pink blooms on some of the other plants. Seems to me I remeber them blooming in the summer. We bought this house in Feb 2002 and I have had so much fun researching to find out what all the flowers and plants are. This one has me stumped! confused

Sounds like a member of the Spider lily family.

Through some more research on the internet, I have found out what my Mystery flower is!! It is a Crinum lily!! Website says they are a truly classic Southern pass-along plant!! They are unique, I will say that! Very Interesting!! and yes, NASH, I believe it IS a member of the Spider lily family!!! Thanks!! laugh
