OP Cliver_McGyver Member C Joined: Dec 2006 Calgary	I let my spinach go to seed the first year and watch it grow through the snow the following year. I find the leaves are huge compared with the first year"s growth. The third year I do a lot of culling. Is there a consensus on this?

'Sparagus Member Joined: Sep 2005 Lehigh Valley, PA	Hmmmm, well my only experience so far was planting very late in fall, keeping them alive all winter, and then they got humongo in the spring!
