I live in NM and have several Morning Glory plants that I planted last spring in my back yard. Most of them are doing well with the exception of one wich seems to be constantly thirsty; every day it is wilted looking as if it has not been watered enough. We water it just as much as the others and have even added bark around the base hoping that it would keep in some of the moisture but still it gets that wilted look. The leaves are all droopy and it does not flower as much as the others. Could it be getting too much sun? It seems that the vines that are in partial shade are doing the best. Please help!

Morning glories prefer to have their leaves in the sun and their roots sheltered, so it sounds like you're doing the right thing. Since this plant is getting more sun than the others, it is wilting in order to reserve it's water supply (they lose most of their moisture through the leaves). It should perk up by the next morning, so you shouldn't necessarily have to water it more. As for not flowering as much, it may simply not be as healthy a plant as the others. They prefer poorly nourished soil, and will flower less in rich soil. Hope this helps!
