Last spring my flowering crab bloomed beautifully. flw But throughout the summer, the leaves dried up and there were only the crabapples on the tree. frown I noticed our neighbors tree had the same problem (the trees are about 30 feet apart). We didn't have an overly moist summer last year, but it was better than the previous summer where we had a big drought.

Any help is greatly appreciated! We just moved into this house a year and a half ago and I was so excited to see a flowering crab in my back yard! clp

Thanks!

L.

sounds like there might be a pest issue.

here's some info that might help: treehelp.com and ndsu.edu and uky.edu and finally, clemson.edu
