We bought this house 2 years ago and it was out there last year but did not look as good as it did this year and we didn't water it, my husband planted a wisteria vine near it so it gets watered now and I love it. There was an old woman living here before us but she did not do any gardening.

I was just reading up on Kiwi,
the one picture does look like the fruit,
but I don't think the leaves match up..

I would say, keep watchin' the fruit,
and take pictures of it's progress...

Maybe someone will come thru to identify it,
but if not, you'll have record of it's growing...

I went out and got a fruit, here is a picture of it whole and another of it after I broke it open. It smelled like a green watermelon or cucumber.

ok, thanks someone on another board said it might be Dudaim melons. I don't think so, I googled and the vines really don't look the same to me and besides that, the fruit is going to have to grow a heck of a lot to get to the size of the ones in the picture web page

I don't think the leaves look similar at all... Duh
For the Melon one??? Duh

Did you tell us whether or not that little yellow
flower in the first picture was the flower to that plant/vine/fruit???

And are there twines, *twining ringlets like on a grape??? *tendrils maybe I should call them*

The flowers are part of it and it does climb, It attached itself to our wisteria and Tony took it off of it and put it to the side, it is climbing up the metal poles behind it.
