I purchased my jade plants in April of this year. I watered them every week an fertilized them every other week. They grew without problems. I kept my jades outside on the porch until October 14th. The day I brought them in I noticed some leaves had dried up and fallen off. That day I thoroughly watered them and gave them their last fertilizing. Today I counted ten leaves that were either completely dried up and fallen off, or yellow and fell off when I touched them. Since my jades have been indoors I have not watered them because I've been waiting for November 14th which will be a month. They are not in direct sunlight either. Please help me before they die.

I can be contacted at alineszy@hotmail.com

Your Jades are trying to acclimate to the sudden change in their environment from outside to inside. You can ease the transition by putting them in your sunniest and coolest window. Although they will need less water inside, it is a gradual reduction and should not jump suddenly from weekly to monthly. Allow the top third of the rootball to dry before watering thoroughly, regardless of what the calendar says.
