That's gorgeous, NjoyNit! There is a lavender Moonflower Vine so maybe you had a couple of seeds mixed in with your white ones. Or a white vine might have reverted to lavender?

I didn't think they could revert.I had 2 different moonvines growing.they looked pretty much the same but the one was small black seeds like morning glory. The seeds looked pretty much like regular moonvine.I found my pink moonvine seeds but like a few weeks ago so will grow them next year.My MIL said she'd seen alot of the pink moonvine growing wild when she was liveing FL.

The one in picture would probably have had more blooms if it got more sun.It gets a lil afternoon sun.I actually missed the 1st few dozen blooms.I just looked UP one day.(Thats a camillia tree in the background...budding up nicely too)

Well, whatever happened, you ended up with a beautiful vine! Be sure to hang on to the seeds for next year. wink I wonder, too, if that might be one of the Japanese Morning Glory? Their blooms are so much larger than the ordinary kind and come in all sorts of pretty colors. Some even have variegated foliage.

Have you checked out the pictures at Ona Lee\'s Seeds?
