plant with large leaves, a little bit of purple around the edges. Big spike in middle with a lot of pink blooms in it.will send a pic as soon as I figure how to do that. I think HTML should be enabled?

No, its not a bulb. It's stems are hairy. The bloom is in the center of the plant, but the round bloom has hundreds of little pink petals. They last about 4 or 5 days and the pink petals fall off.

If you go to one of these sites, *and there is other's too, just can't remember the names*....

WebShots
PhotoBucket
Imagestation

It's FREE to download your pictures too....
Then you can attach the URL from the place you choose, copy and paste the URL, then click on the IMAGE botton, and insert the URL into there.
*there will be a highlighted blue http:/ thing there, either delete it or click your backspace button to get rid of it

I hope this helps..
I personally like PHOTOBUCKET, easy to use,
and easy to load picture's.....and we all don't have to be a member to view them here...

P/S There's some other gardener's that do use pictures alot and maybe able to help you alot better than I did, Afgreyparrot/Cindy, Loz, Meg, Jiffy, G~mom, plants~n~Pots, Carly, Mary....
tons of them know how and can give you a hand if you need it....

Nope It does'nt look anything like that. It only has 1 large bloom in the middle top of the plant. It lsats about a week. The flowers are inside of a big round clump.

the flower is a passion flower. beautiful flower that has some religious details involved. BUT, the only thing is the flowers only last one day. But with good care you will have new blooms everyday.

Nope, Nope Thats not what it is. The flower(s) is pink, much larger leaf, some slight purple around the edges, hairy stems grows to about 5 ft, comes up everywhere from root of other plants ( cause its hard to dig up). It's not just 1 flower, it's a cluster of a whole bunch of tiny ones. The flower is in the pic but it had died, but I will try to get a better pic. I just have a small inexpencive camera.
