Nah, I don't think it's those.. I've had the daisy fleabane here, and know what that one looks like. This is more.. I don't know.. shrub like? Well, not exactly shrubby, but it's many branches, and many flowers, and the fleabane I've had are more like single stemmed. This is before it had flowers...

That was my guess was the Aster family..

The one thing with those plants that disappoint me every year is...... they get so tall, and pretty fill out nicely, then when we start getting some rain, and some wind, they flatten right out.. and fall over..
Every year I say, I'm going to get something to prop them up, or start pinching them and never get around to doing it...

Mine are flat out on the ground, growing side
shoots now...

id say asters too. not flea bane-of-my-existance (not really, its easy enough to pull). asters are one of the lovliest of the fall flowers!

Weezie they started out scraggly lookin, but now they are much more dense & lotsa flower buds all over them. They are cute.. but I know I probably keep them in check, eh?

I'm shocked the county hasn't been by to whack my ditch..lol.

I love Asters, but I live in the country
where I can get away with it more easily..

But I tell you, there's a great little plant.
NO watering or care for them nessessary once you find them.. and they add color in the months
when ther'es not much left...
