I have one more photo I would like to add for identification....................

I know the one in the rear is a type of sedum but I am uncertain what the one in the front is......it does not yet have any blooms, but when it does it looks like it will have many! Any comments would be helpful!

Did you plant this plant or is it a volunteer *weed*????

To me it almost looks like a wild aster family.

Actually my husband planted it late last September while I was at work (without permission)and he failed to retain the id tag and it has been growing very vigorously but I have no idea what it is. All I know is it blooms very late summer/early fall!!

Aster's bloom pretty much right about that time..

Will you do me a favor???
I'm hoping someone else will come along and give you a guess or two, *and hopefully concur with mine* but if we get some more "I don't know's or maybe's*..
Can you take some more pictures for us, when they bloom..


Asters can have many colors..
From a dark purple, light purple, to whites, and pinks..
And the shape of the flower heads can be totally different too...
Just get some shots of the flowers and how they cluster and that'll reallllly cement down the variety I think....

It looks kind of like one of my perennial sunflowers.

Looks similar to several varieties of wild Asters but also looks very much like Solidaster Lemore, a cross between Asters and good Goldenrods. Check out the pix at the Califlora Nursery website.
