I've been to serveral garden stores and surfing the net but can't find any plant, little trees that grow out of something that looks like a kidney bean split lengthwise and half burried in the dirt... the stem comes right out of the center and stands straight up?!?!?

Well it seems to me that its the seed you see half buried in the soil... I can not ID it from the seed. However a pic of the leaves would be helpful, and we will see.

Whistler876,
Welcome to The Garden Helper's Forum!

I'd say the same thing about the needing to see some more pictures, of the leaves, top or tip of the plant too... Up close of leaves and full shotof the plant, if possible????????

I went looking for it on google - here's something that 'might' refer to it.

I have something odd turning up in my pots too - it's a small blue seed - don't know what it is.
