Well... as usual I have some more mysteries. This first is a tree that was slow to leaf and I recently noticed its sprouting something. I *think* they might be crab apples but hoping its not. It was a landscaped yard so I don't know why someone would plant it.... but maybe you all can clue me in smile

And this one... does not look like any of my other weeds or plants so I wasn't sure whether to yank or leave smile

Thanks for any and all insight wink

Hi Marina wavey
The tree could be a crabapple. Did it have pink blooms?
Can you get a closer picture of the second plant?

The first looks like some sort of apple. An unpruned fruit tree can have much smaller fruits than its well maintained counterpart.
Why wouldnt someone plant a crabapple in a landscaped yard? Theyre often grown for their flowers. Some people make crabapple jelly.

I agree with the closer look at the plant?
Looks like about 3 different one's, but not
certain on either one...

Is it possible??

Sorry for the late reply smile I will snap some pictures of the second one in a few wink

As for the tree...it did flower, they were white.

I guess I am just down on crab apples because you can't eat them. I was hoping fo big apples or nuts smile

Maybe I'm crazy but I gotta tell ya that the last picture looks like a weed, clover weed. It flowers a pretty but small flower in pink or purple but it's a weed.
