If your dog is like mine they love treats!! My dog a buff-colored cocker-spaniel named 'Parker' wanted me to share this with all his paw-pals this year... thumbup

Reindeer/ Doggy cookies

PeanutButter-oatmeal crunchies

1/4 cup honey
1 cup crunchy Peanutbutter(preferrably>no salt & sugar free, depending the diet of your dog)
2 cups chicken broth, or water
1/3 cup peanut oil
1 cup rolled oats
3-4 cups oat flour
1 cup oat bran

In Large sauce pan combine Honey,P-Butter,Chkn Broth, P-oil, heat to low simmer stirring often.
remove from heat stir in rolled oats & oat bran.
cool long enough to "work with"
Blend in oat flour adding enough to make stiff dough.. transfer to oatfloured surface and knead untill smooth ... shape into ball and roll out to 1/4" thick cut into squares or use small cookie cutters of choice
Bake @ 350... 30 min turn over and bake additional 30 min. after all batches are done, return all cookies to baking sheet use two if you have too, now turn the oven off and put all back in oven for a couple of hours this will make cookie crunchier,,,, For older Doggs with gums and teeth issues after 2nd 30 bake time cool slightly and put in a Zip-lock this will make for easier chewing thumbup

I saved your recipe also Bill, guess I better get started if I am making doggie cookies for all of my friends doggie babies and mine too. My doggies only get treats when they have to go in their kennels or at special times, Some other times also, they let me know if they think it is treat time and then they are limited usually to only 2-3 treats a day, But I have big dogs so the treats they get are Bigger treats...Have to get out the big cookie cutters for them LOL
