Hi All,

Some of my seedling trays have a faint green color to the soil. I'm assuming this is moss. Is this bad for the seedlings, should I do something about it?

What caused this? Duh

It's from the soil being constantly moist. Allow the surface to just dry out to the touch before watering again. Air circulation will also help as will a light covering on the soil with coarse sand or vermiculite. It shouldn't be a problem if the seedlings are gonna be planted out soon.

Thanks Longy
That's what I thought, we're usually planting out by May long weekend.
It's mostly on my marigold's soil so I'm going to dry them out a bit.
