ok...I think I did the pollination thing right because my zucc plant is giving ALOT of them now, and this morning I found out I didn't even need to to do the "pollination by hand". there were SO many bees I couldn't believe it!! I went in the house and got my hubby so he would believe me as to HOW MANY there were!! All kinds of them too!!
By 10 am all the flowers were just about closed up which explains WHY I never saw them open when I got home at 4pm...lol

I will have to post a recipe for Stuffed Zucchini.

Yummy!!!!

Also if you think that Zucchini is going to get big, that Watermelon you have will get bigger than the whole bed.

Mine has grown to over 10' and still growing.

Also on the watermelon you will notice a short running about 4" from the watermelon. When your watermelon is ripe that little runner will turn brown and dry up.

I have been told that is how you know when the melon is ready for picking.
