Has anyone ever grown these miniature tomatoes mentioned in the website "Tomato Growers Supply"?
Two varieties listed are Micro Tom and Florida Petite.
The catalog says that these can be grown in a 4" pot. Sounds like fun !
Anyone ever tried them?

I just realized-I should put this over in container gardening.

Hi Deb. Yes, there a couple of the so-called "micro-dwarf" varieties. 6 to 8 inch plants with small cherry-size fruit. They are perfect for small containers, window boxes, etc. Micro-tom is the best known. I haven't grown one myself but not long ago I received a German variety called Halms Gelbe Topftomate from a friend that is very similar to micro-tom but in a gold fruit color. I planned on growing it next year in containers. I guess the fruit don't taste all that great and it is more of a novelty, but I'm gonna try it anyway.

Thanks, John, that's what I thought-that it would be fun to grow one, even though the tomatoes might not taste too good.
But who knows, they might be just fine for a snacking tomato.
I think I'll order the Micro Tom next year.
Great picture !
