This is a very stupid question but I am really not sure. I bought a plumeria cutting from Wal-Mart yesterday and when I went to plant it I couldn't figure out which end to plant. shocked
It looks as though it were cut on one end and has green shoots on the other. My husband says it is the roots but I don't think it looks like roots. I have sent an email to the company since the package didn't come with good instructions and have not heard back from them. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Somer

plant the cut end down. The top is dome-ish and has green shoots. The shoots look like little pointy thorns to start. You won't get roots without heat and light. It will not sprout roots spontaneously.

Good luck with your new plumeria. thumbup

I have 2 of them...and they've gotten quite large. I've had to repot them 3 times. Mine are white...what color is yours? I would like to have a red one.
