I went and bought a plant and I'm not too sure what it is. laugh

Experimenting......

It's called "Herman's Pride" or Lamiastrum galeobdolon.

Can anyone give me some info' on this plant? Do you have one and how is it growing? What will it look like after some time?

I planted it in the shade with morning sun for a few hours. flw

I have some Yellow Archangel in my back garden that gets full sun and very little watering. It's huge and looks great!

Wow Netty, that's beautiful....

Questions???

Do you trim it alot??
*to make it in that round ballish shape?
Or is that how that variety grows??
**I always thought it was a ground cover like??**

Wow Netty is right, that's the one I bought.

So I guess I'm alright with where I planted it. Now we wait and see how it grows.

Weezie-this guy gets very little attention. I trim it back a bit after the blooms die off but this is the shape it grows. I'm amazed that it does that well there as it's on a south facing wall and gets full sun all day, alot of heat and very little water.

It really is a neat lookin' plant..
Brightens up a spot real nice...
Love the color contrasting with the dark purple..
They both stand right out...
