I used to have a fountain head like that.

They are fun to watch.

Ours clogged a little, but they come apart in just a few seconds.

It makes a tranquil sound.

not sure if you can see them very good but in some of the pics. there is one big blow up snake that i actually float in my pond at first to keep te birds and cats out but now i went and bought a bag of those little samll plastic snakes and i have them under the water and along the edges and the birds ,cats, dogs and even racoons stay away now. and now the flaoting snake is just laid aside. the blow up snakes work great in your bushes and trees to keep birds away.

my hubby changed our filter about once every week when the water gets dirt or leaves in it. but if yur water is healthy andno trees around it could be changed about 1-2 times a month, or less. especially with cooler weather now. he only rinses the filter pads off and removes the fiber fill without disturbing the bio balls and adds new fiber fill. a $2 bag of fiber fill will last a while. we are so happy with our pond now.
