Just found this sight..Think its great..lots of info...do have a question about brussel sprouts.The plants seem to be doing great,but never having grown them before don`t know where the actual brussel sprout grows.on the stalk?Do they take along time to mature? thanks

Welcome. I've only grown them once. They do grow right on the stem itself and from what I remember they mature in the 80-100 day range I believe.

yes they do grow on the stalk, you should be able to see them just above the leaf joint.
they are classed as a winter crop, but ive picked early-sept, but most come dec onwards.
they taste better after a few frosts thumbup
