plants 'n pots Member Joined: Nov 2003 Rockland County, NY	Purple loosestrife! I have some too, BUT... It has become very invasive the past several years and is actually banned in many places because it is clogging up streams and waterways. It grows unchecked along many highways here in wetlands and is just beautiful when in full bloom, but as I said, has caused many problems in the ecosystem.
