The school I work in is under renovation and my new office has NO WINDOWS!!!!!!!! I've always had plants at my workplace and am in search of plants that I can grow in a room with no sunlight-only artificial light. I need some suggestions. HELP!!!!!

I think most house plants can grow with regular lites...maybe you could try an iron plant (think that's what it's called)

I would be looking for a grow light of some kind and put my plants under that. Short of that...I would go with Pothos or Peace lily. I have seen both do great without natural light.

I second Tonya. Also, my husband, when moved to the same sort of situation, replaced all the fluourescent(sp?) tubes in his office with some sort of grow/natural light tubes of his own. He never regrettedit it for himself or the plants he had.

draceana (tri-color marjinata aka dragon tree & a janet craig)
aspidistra (cast iron plant)

try a terrarium, you can grow all sorts of cool mini plants like orchids and carnivorous plants, as long as you have flourescent lights 4 it
