Does anyone know if there may be a cause of leaves turning yellow besides lack of iron? I have a plant that needs very low-nutrition soil, and the leaves are turning yellow. I am wondering if it has something to do with the fluorescent light in the tank it's in, maybe it's not bright enough?

We need the name of the plant or a picture so that we can identify it. That's first. Then we have a chance of knowing what is ailing it.

Yep, I agree with John...
When you over water, or too much rain or soil that drains *loamy* too fast....
it washes right straight thru the dirt/soil..
taking any nutrients with it, never giving the
plant a chance to absorb any food...
