Hello,

I am new to the site. Just found you on the internet search. Was wondering if anyone here could help me with a question ? I just bought a flowering Crabapple tree, "prarie fire" and I was wondering if anyone here has ever grown a large, fast growing tree like this one in a container? We rent, so need to keep this one "mobile" for a bit longer.

Thank you and so nice to meet everyone.

It would have to be a BIG container. How big is the tree now, and how many years does it have to stay mobile?

Hello Wrennie!

I have a huge container...it is only one year old.. But it is a vigorous grower that is supposed to top out at 20 feet! So, if we haven't moved into our own place within a few years, I have decided to donate the tree, because it isn't fair to have the tree suffer! Thanks again for your info!!! thumbup
