Hello everyone. I'm new to the site and I am so glad to have found you!

My aloe is fuzzy. It's getting plenty of sun and was last watered about a week ago, but it is developing what looks like snow on it. (Sorry no pictures). This happened previously and my friend gave it a lot of water and it bounced back.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance,
Jen

[Linked Image] Jen from Barcelona!

We have many aloe plants here in Florida, but I don't know about "snow" or white residue on it. One of our experts will be along to help.

Welome and we're glad you're here!!

Is the 'snow' dry and powdery and maybe forming on the edge of the pot, too? Or, if you rub at it gently with a toothpic or something, is it gooey at the bottom? Do you fertilize or have hard water? Do you know mealy bugs when you see them? Is Barcelona as nice as I think it is? Welcome!
