Triss looks blue green to me but then I have trouble with colors at times. But this was taken on a shelf on my porch that is on East side of house sun is all behind the house.

oooooh, I like, Jimmy!!! Triss - Don and I saw a VERY BLUE cactus in HD the other day - it looked fake because it was sooooo blue - I didn't buy it because it was a bit pricey, and if it was that color because it wasn't healthy I didn't want to chance it...

Jimmy, how long are the leaves on that plant? It may just be a young jade (as opposed to 'baby'). But I don't know it all ant there could be mini-jades out there.

I am at workk now but guess maybe two nch long. the tag said BABY jade will measure in the morning and post.

The only one I can find so far is Crassula potulacea v. compacta. It's a smaller jade plant.

In fine print under the name Baby Jade is written Crassula argentea the stems are four inchs long the petals are 1/2 inch wide X 1 inch long. Had to get magnifying glass to read that name.

All of my regular jade plants are 'argentea', there is one cultivar called "Crosby's dwarf". The needs are the same as any jade plant. Sorry I cant help you more, Jimmy.

Thank you, connie. That is Portulacaria and we call it elephant food here. Jimmy has a crassula argentea. His leaves are much bigger than The elephant plant's. Those are cool plants as well. I have dozens of those, too.

that looks the same as the plant i just bought at the philly flower show. just a young plant. treat it the same as any jade.
