OP NewbeeBud Junior Member Joined: Jul 2006 Toronto, Ontario, Canada	I have an overgrown corn palm. The stalks have grown tall and fallen. What I need to know is can I cut a stalk and either replant or re-root it? I've been told that I can cut the stalks down and possibly new grown will come. Is there something I should do or be aware of before I do so? Thanks in advance. B

OP NewbeeBud Junior Member Joined: Jul 2006 Toronto, Ontario, Canada	Yes it is more officially known as a Dracaena fragrans. You really know your plants! Well we decided to cut one of the stalks down to about a foot high. We'll see what happens and then take it from there. Hopefully it sprouts up and we can begin a new chapter with this plant.
