Just a quick question. . . do i have to use support methods for green bell pepper plants like i do with cages for my tomatoes?

Getting everything ready & planned so i can transplant here in a couple weeks smile YAY!

All I do is stake mine to give them a little support, but not cages like with tomatoes.

I grow California Wonder Bell pepper and they do not need to be caged or staked.

I use the cheap tomato cages that you can buy at walmart to support peppers.

I use those too, but just cause I live in
"Wind Alley" and I have loose, fluffy non walked on soil and the combo of those two and top
heavy or fruit heavy plants sometimes go side ways..
The cages just give it a small help!!!
